He said the confirmed monkeypox patient known from the male group was between 24-30 years old. Based on the results of laboratory examinations as of October 30, 2023, the patient was detected as having symptoms of fever, lesion in the hands, face and body.
"Both of them have no comorbidities, the current condition has been handled by isolation, there are no complaints, close contacts are monitored by the local Puskesmas," he said.
According to him, all the identified patients are currently undergoing intensive isolation treatment with the treatment period to be carried out until a perfect recovery.
He added, with the findings of the case, the South Tangerang City Government appealed to the public not to panic and remain vigilant monkeypox by increasing clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS) and improving health protocols.
