Six Bodies With Arrow Shots Victims Of The KKB Attack Were Evacuated From The Dekai Yahukimo River

Yahukimo Police Chief AKBP Heru Hidayanto said the joint team evacuated six bodies from the mining site around Kali I, Dekai, Yahukimo Regency, Papua Mountains.

A joint team consisting of members of the Yahukimo Police, Kodim 1715 Yahukimo and the Cartenz Peace Task Force began to move to the location at around 05.50 WIT, Friday, October 27.

Arriving at the TKP, he immediately combed the I river, which is a gold mining area.

"Alhamdulillah, the evacuation went smoothly without any significant disturbances," said Yahukimo Police Chief AKBP Heru Hidayanto as quoted by ANTARA.

The condition of the six bodies that were seen to have suffered arrow wounds and as a result of being mistreated looked alarming and after being put in a body bag they were immediately evacuated to Dekai Hospital.

Later the six bodies will be handed over to the family for burial.

The identities of the six bodies are Marsel, Rangga, Boplang, Ibrahim, Andika and Akmal.

With the discovery and evacuation of the six bodies, there were 13 people who died in the attack carried out by the KKB at the Kali I inauguration location.

There were about 200 survivors who were evacuated from the mining site around Kali I, Seradala District, since Monday (16/10) the attack took place.

In addition to attacking the returners, the KKB also burned the camp and equipment belonging to the returners.
