News Of Firli Bahuri-SYL Meeting At Kertanegara Rental House, Polda Metro Is Still Secret

Director of Special Criminal Investigation of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Safri Simanjuntak responded to reports that KPK Chairman Firli Bahuri had met with former Agriculture Minister Syahrul Yasin Limpo or SYL at the rental house on Jalan Kertanegara number 46, South Jakarta.

According to him, the news has entered the investigation material which is currently being investigated and proven.

"Yes, that's the material for the investigation. But what is clear is that the investigation efforts carried out by the joint investigative team are related to allegations of corruption which is currently being carried out by a joint investigation team," Ade told reporters, Friday, October 27.

Regarding the search in Kertanegara, investigators confiscated a number of evidences on Thursday, October 26.

However, it was not conveyed in detail what was confiscated from the house.

"There is some evidence that we confiscated at the location of the search of Kertanegara's house number 46," he said

The results of the search have been coordinated with an assistance team from the Directorate of Corruption Crimes at the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency.

"So we have consolidated the results of the search yesterday," he said.

Later, the evidence obtained will shed light on the alleged extortion case against former Agriculture Minister Syahrul Yasin Limpo or SYL. Including, to determine the suspect.

"With that evidence, it will shed light on the criminal acts that occurred and find the suspects," said Ade.

The series of cases of alleged extortion or acceptance of gratuities by the KPK leadership against Syahrul Yasin Limpo began when Polda Metro Jaya received Dumas on August 12, 2023.

With the complaint, the Tipidkor Sub-Directorate of the Ditreskrimsus Polda Metro Jaya collected information on the basis of a statement collection order (pulbaket) issued on Tuesday, August 15, 2023.

Not long after, investigators issued an investigation warrant on August 21. At this stage, a number of witnesses were examined, one of which was SYL.

After the investigation was completed, investigators carried out a case title. As a result, a criminal element was found so that the status of the case was upgraded to the investigation stage.

As of October 27, Polda Metro Jaya has examined 55 witnesses. Some of them, SYL's driver and personal aide, Deputy Chairperson of the KPK for the 2007-2011 period Mochammad Jasin.

The Deputy Chairperson of the KPK for the 2015-2019 period Saut Situmorang, Director of Public Complaints and Complaints (Dumas) of the KPK Tomi Murtomo, Aide de Camp (ADC) or aide to the Chairman of the KPK Kevin Egananta, and Semarang Police Chief Kombes Irwan Anwar who is also SYL's nephew's husband.
