Police Process KMP Tranship 1 Fire Scene In Bakauheni

The Ditreskrimum of the Lampung Regional Police and the South Lampung Police Inafis immediately processed the crime scene (TKP), to investigate the fire of the Transiphi passenger cargo ship at Bakauheni Port.

Based on Antara's observation at the scene, it was seen that a number of police officers immediately conducted a crime scene investigation and entered the burning KMP Tranship 1 ship.

The police chief explained that there were no casualties in the ferry fire incident.

Previously, Gomos Silitonga, a guard officer at Bakauheni Port, confirmed that a fire had occurred that hit the ship, why was it transipp one at Bakauheni Port.

"After the ship enters the flow, we will prioritize it to carry out the demolition process and evacuate it," he said.

He also said that the ship docked at 16.00 WIB, and immediately evacuated passengers.

"The position of the Tranship ship docked at pier 4, we immediately evacuated at 16.00 WIB," he said.

The fire came from a cargo expedition car which was carrying packages, and the fire came from an electric motorbike.

"There were no fatalities, the ship's passengers were immediately evacuated, but there were some who were short of breath because the ship was directing passengers on the boat," he also said.
