Deputy Gelora Uploads Prabowo-Gibran Photo Ahead Of The Vice Presidential Candidate Determination Meeting

JAKARTA - Deputy General Chairperson (Waketum) of the Gelora Fahri Hamzah Party uploaded a photo of Prabowo Subianto's presidential candidate being juxtaposed with Surakarta Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

In his upload, Fahri also reminded that the current term of service of the head of state ends in another year.

"Today, October 20, 2024. Exactly a year away, Pak Jokowi and Kyai Ma'ruf will end and the new President/Vice President will be sworn in," Fahri said on the X account, @Fahrihamzah, Friday, October 20.

Fahri's upload on social media ahead of the meeting of the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM) discussed the prospective vice presidential candidate (cawapres) accompanying Prabowo.

Fahri also prayed that the presidential candidate he supported, Prabowo, together with Gibran, would be elected as the nation's leader to replace Joko Widodo-Ma'ruf Amin.

"We pray for an easy path for Pak Prabowo and Mas Gibran to be sworn in in exactly a year. For a strong and strong Indonesia. Towards #Superpowerbaru!," he said.

Gibran Rakabuming Raka reportedly left for Jakarta ahead of the Golkar Party Leadership Meeting (Rapimnas) which will be held on Saturday, October 21.

When confirmed in this regard, the chairman of the Gerindra DPC Solo, Ardianto Kuswinarno, laughed. However, he confirmed the news.

"This is Mas Wali (Gibran, red) to Jakarta right. I myself do not know what activities, I am in Surabaya," he said, quoted by Antara, Friday, October 20.

Regarding communication with Gibran, Ardianto admitted that he last met at a plenary meeting at the Surakarta City DPRD Office on Thursday, October 19.

"I didn't communicate, yesterday I met at the plenary session, I kept chatting for a while. It's not about parties, about the construction of mosques," he said.

Meanwhile, when asked about Gibran's certainty that he would accompany Prabowo Subianto as vice presidential candidate in the 2024 General Election, Ardianto said that until now the Surakarta City Gerindra Party DPC is still compactly proposing Gibran.
