Police Have Arrested A Gang Of Transmitter Station Tool Thieves In Jambi

JAMBI - Members of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the South Jambi Police arrested four perpetrators as a gang of thieves of transmitter station equipment or Base Transceiver Station (BTS), one of the leading cellular phone operators in Indonesia.

South Jambi Police Chief AKP Suwondo said his members managed to arrest a gang of perpetrators of theft of BTS mobile phone operators who were charged according to Article 363 of the Criminal Code where the South Jambi Police team arrested four perpetrators of the theft of the Base Transceiver Station Operator Indosat.

The police revealed the case after receiving a report of theft that occurred on Jalan Arjuna III RT 12, Eka Jaya Village, Paalmerah District, Jambi City, some time ago.

It was reported that one of the towers of cellular phone operators lost BTS which was later investigated by the police.

Based on information from the reporter and after seeing the CCTV footage that committed the theft, it was an Indosat technician employee

"The South Jambi Police Criminal Investigation Team managed to arrest the perpetrator after receiving a report that the perpetrator was at his boarding house, then the perpetrator and his evidence were brought to the Jambi Police for the investigation process," he said.

The four perpetrators in the theft were arrested by the police with the initials TK (26), A (28), RS (31), TH (35).
