Dozens Of Elementary School Children Were Rushed To The Hospital And Treated After Consuming Candy Containing Marijuana

JAKARTA - More than 60 Jamaican elementary school children are hospitalized after eating rainbow-colored marijuana candy, the Caribbean country's education minister said on social media platform X.

They said they were required to undergo treatment, because they experienced vomiting and hallucinations after eating the candy.

"I feel confident that together we will strengthen our safety and security rules to combat the sale of cannabis-containing products that make no sense to children," Fayval Williams said.

"That's how powerful this product is," Williams criticized.
