TANGERANG The impact of the long dry season, as many as 1,626 families (KK) in South Tangerang experienced drought and lack of clean water.

The total number of affected families, initially 1,463, has now increased to 1,626 families (KK). The number of points is still likely to increase considering the dry season is still ongoing," said Head of Emergency and Lgistics Division of BPBD South Tangerang, Gumay when confirmed, Friday, September 29.

Therefore, his party provided free clean water assistance since September 14 to the affected location. Even if it expands, it is open to sending aid back.

"If there is a letter from the village head, we will immediately move to provide assistance. At least 20 families," he said.

Until now, tens of thousands of clean water is always distributed per day. It also shares work assignments.

"To accelerate the acceleration of clean water assistance, we distribute tasks. For the Mangu Jurang, there is the Cipta Karya Service, for the Cage, the Setu and Muncul areas are BPBD," he concluded.
