NTB Police Take Over Handling Victims Of Fraudulent Investments In FEC, PPATK Will Be Involved

The NTB Police took over the handling of the complaint report from victims of the Future E-Comerce (FEC) fraudulent investment that was previously processed at the Central Lombok Police. "So, the handling of the complaint report at the Central Lombok Police has been taken over by the NTB Police," said Head of Public Relations of the NTB Police, Kombes Arman Asmara Syarifuddin in Mataram, as reported by Antara, Friday, September 22. He said the complaint reports taken over by the NTB Police from the Central Lombok Police came from three victims. With this takeover, he said, the NTB Police are now handling 13 reports of complaints from victims of FEC. "The handling is now under the NTB Police Criminal Investigation Sub-Directorate," he said. In further handling, investigators do not rule out the possibility of involving institutions that are experts in the banking sector, such as the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK) and the Financial Services Authority (OJK). "This is to reconstruct banking financial transactions," said Arman. His party also carried out the search by asking for information from criminal experts. The goal is to see legal relations in the complaint report which leads to allegations of fraud and embezzlement.

"There will also be a request for information from the reporters later, this is to strengthen the basis for handling. So, it is still puldata and pulbaket," he said.
