President Jokowi Invites Celebrities Around IKN, Aurelie Moeremans Can't Wait To See The Final Results

President Joko Widodo invited a number of art activists to tour the Nusantara Capital (IKN) area in North Penajam Paser Regency, East Kalimantan.

The visit started with the Construction Worker Residential (HPK), where Jokowi gathered first with art activists while having lunch together.

Furthermore, Jokowi together with art activists visited the location for the construction of the presidential office in IKN. There, Jokowi explained about the progress of the construction to show the location of the new presidential palace which can be seen clearly from the roof of the presidential office building.

Seeing this, a number of art activists were amazed by the progress of the IKN development. One of them, rapper Ignatius Rosoinaya Penyami or Saykoji who claimed to be amazed by the shape of the IKN he saw directly.

"I am amazed because if we don't walk here, we can't see how much scale it has been built," Saykoji said as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, September 22.

In addition, Saykoji also expressed his belief in seeing IKN for Indonesia's future.

"I think there is great optimism for Indonesia, for Indonesia's future, for Indonesia's leadership," he added.

Saykoji also hopes that IKN can become the center of government that can build the Indonesian nation.

"Everyone (can) see that Indonesia can also be built evenly," said Saykoji.

In line with Saykoji, actress Asri Welas also admitted that she was proud because Indonesia was finally able to start implementing equitable development.

"I am very proud to be an Indonesian, where (there is) equity. I think this is the right time to be here," said Asri.

Meanwhile, Aurelie Moeremans admitted that she was enthusiastic to see the final results of the IKN development.

"Listen to Mr. Jokowi, he said that in August (2024) it would be finished and I was really excited, really, really couldn't wait to see the results," said Aurelie.

After reviewing the location of the president's office, Jokowi then invited art activists to visit a number of other infrastructures, namely the West National Axis, the presidential palace area, and to the hill to show the view of IKN from above.
