Russian Citizen Fugitive Interpol Arrested In Bali Handed Over To Police Headquarters For Deportation

BADUNG - The Special Class I Immigration Office of TPI Ngurah Rai, Bali, deported a Russian Interpol fugitive named Pavel Mironov (32).

Immigration Ngurah Rai previously arrested the foreigner who was the subject of Interpol Red Diffusion (IRD) in a criminal act of fraud and a criminal organization issued on January 13, 2023.

The Bburonan has been handed over from the Bali Police to the Divhubinter Police Headquarters at the Class I Immigration Office Special for TPI Ngurah Rai on Wednesday (20/9).

The Immigration Intelligence and Enforcement Team (Inteljakim) of Ngurah Rai Immigration together with members of the Divhubinter Police Headquarters escorted the person concerned to Jakarta for the deportation and handling over process.

The foreigner was flown using Garuda Indonesia airline Denpasar-Jakarta flight followed by Uzbekistan Airways or Jakarta-Tashkent, then continued with the Uzbekistan Airways flight on September 21, 2023 local time or Tashkent-Moscow with the final destination of Moscow, Russia.

"The person concerned is subject to immigration administrative action in the form of deportation and his name is included in the deterrence list in accordance with the violation as referred to in Article 75 paragraph (3) of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 6 of 2011 concerning Immigration," he said.

The Special Class I Immigration Office of TPI Ngurah Rai, Bali, previously arrested a male fugitive from an Interpol from Russia named Pavel Mironov (32).

Pavel was arrested on Thursday (31/8) in the Kuta area, Badung Regency, Bali. This arrest was based on a request from Interpol through the NCB Interpol Divhubinter Police Headquarters.
