President Erdogan Of The Investment Law In Turkey, Here's Elon Musk's Response

JAKARTA - President Recep Tayyip Erdogan invited Tesla CEO Elon Musk to invest in Turkey, opening the seventh factory, when the two met in New York, the State Communications Directorate said Monday.

During a meeting taking place in Turkish House, Manhattan, United States, President Erdoungan told Musk, founder of Tesla and SpaceX, about Turkey's "tech breakthrough as well as Turkey's 'Digital' vision and National Artificial Intelligence Strategy," the directorate said in a statement.

In addition to inviting Tesla to set up a factory in Turkey, President Erdogan also opened up opportunities for cooperation with SpaceX.

"President Erdoyan stated that opportunities for collaboration with SpaceX may arise through steps taken and taken as part of Turkey's space program and invite Musk to the Teknofest to be held at Izmir," the directorate said.

Furthermore, President Erdogan is also open to cooperation in artificial intelligence and outer space, where Musk also owns satellite internet company Starlink.

Musk himself, according to the statement, said many Turkish suppliers were already working with Tesla, with Turkey being one of the most important candidates for the next plant's location.

Responding to President Erdogan's offer of cooperation with SpaceX's Starlink satellite service and artificial intelligence, Musk said they wanted to cooperate with Turkish authorities to obtain the necessary licenses to offer Starlink satellite services in Turkey, the statement said.

He added that President Erdogan also had time to say the success of Turkey's Bayraktar TB2 Drone, with Musk saying he was aware of the world's interest in one of Turkey's leading products.
