KSP Initiating Health Services, Prevents The Fall Of Victims Of Election Committees

JAKARTA - The Presidential Staff Office (KSP) initiated a health service program for election officials. As is known, in the 2019 elections and 2020 Pilkada, a total of 839 officers died, and 951 fell ill. Learning from that incident, the Presidential Staff Office gathered stakeholders of the election committee to agree on a new mechanism to prevent the occurrence of the same event. Namely by utilizing BPJS health screening services for election officers which reached more than nine million, including members of the TNI and Polri... 2019 election, bloody election because many officers fell ill and even died. If this incident recurres again, the public must ask what the government has been doing so far. For this reason, KSP initiated preventive measures by utilizing health screening services from BPJS," said Head of KSP Moeldoko at the Bina Graha Jakarta building, Monday 18 September. Moeldoko said through BPJS health screening services, then we could identify which officers are at risk of low, moderate, and high health. For those whose health risks are moderate and high, health screening will be carried out physically, and get health services, ranging from treatment to treatment. Every officer requiring treatment and health care will be fully borne by BPJS, said the TNI Commander 2013-2015. As a follow-up, Moeldoko asked the Chairman of the KPU, Bawaslu, the TNI Commander, and the National Police Chief immediately issued a circular so that all ranks in the election follow the health screening of BPJS Health online. In addition, the Minister of Home Affairs is expected to immediately issue a circular letter for the local government registering health officials who do not yet have BPJS health as participants instead of Wage Recipients (BPU).
