Anies Baswedan: The Coalition For Change Is Not Just A Target For Winning But Brings A Noble Mission

JAKARTA - The Presidential Candidate (readpres) of the Amendment Coalition Anies Baswedan is grateful that PKB General Chair Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin has been appointed by the PKS Syuro Council as a candidate for vice president (readwapres) who will be promoted in the 2024 presidential election.

Anies ensured that the Coalition for Changes consisting of PKS, NasDem PKB, was not a coalition that was just targeting to win, but also brought a noble mission to the Indonesian people.

The mission is to make Indonesia a country that presents a sense of justice, a country that produces a sense of equality, and a government that provides protection for every drop of Indonesian blood.

"The mission to be brought is a big and noble mission. That is the task, the mandate that we have carried so far," said Anies at the PKS DPP office on Simatupang Street, South Jakarta, Friday, September 15.

To carry out the mission, said Anies, of course there is a process that must be passed. He said, bringing justice, equality, protection is about authority.

"And this authority is given by the people through the presidential and election process, and this is what we are currently going through," he said.

The former governor of DKI Jakarta is grateful, the NasDem Party, PKS, and PKB are members of a coalition called the Change Coalition. Where the cooperation assessment process is not short and meaningful.

"And we convey to all the people that this coalition is not just targeting to win. Winning is an early round, what we hold is to want a fairer, more prosperous Indonesia, which protects every drop of blood," said Anies.

Anies thanked the PKS Syuro Council for giving him the mandate to become a 2024 presidential candidate since last February. Followed by giving the mandate to the Anies-Cak Imin pair or the AMIN pair.

"God willing, we will carry this mandate as well as possible," he concluded.
