Brake Blong, Suzuki Grand Vitara In Duren Sawit Falls At BKT River

JAKARTA - The Suzuki Grand Vitara with plate number B 2014 STB, fell into the banks of the East Flood Canal River (BKT) sheet, Duren Sawit District, East Jakarta, Tuesday, September 12, afternoon.

The black car was driven by a man named Tono. According to Tono, the incident happened so fast when he was parking his vehicle to put it in the repair shop.

"I want to go to the workshop. When I wanted to enter, I wanted to step back and go forward. The brakes failed. Even though I didn't ride slowly," Tono told reporters, Tuesday, September 12.

Tono suspected that the car he was driving had failed brakes. When the car drove forward, it turned out that the car's wheels continued to rotate and enter the banks of the BKT River.

"My two friends and I are parking the car. From the house (bamboo booth) I want to go to the workshop," he said.

Tono also looked a little shocked after the incident. He suffered head injuries due to collisions and injuries to his hands.

"The wound on the head was hit by a collision," he said.

Meanwhile, the car evacuation process was carried out by being towed using a crane from the East Jakarta Transportation Service. The evacuation process was also assisted by PPSU officers.

The incident became a spectacle for local residents. Residents who were curious, went to the scene to see the evacuation process.
