JAKARTA - The government set 27 days of national holidays and collective leave in 2024 as stated in the Joint Decree of the Minister of Religion, Minister of Manpower, and Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform.Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (Menko PMK) Muhadjir Effendy said the 27 holidays consisted of 17 national holidays and 10 days of collective leave. "In 2024, the government decided 27 holidays," Muhadjir said in a press conference at the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture's Office, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday 12 September. According to him, the determination of the national holiday and joint leave in 2023 is intended as a guide for the community, the economic sector, and the private sector in their activities. In addition, as a reference for ministries and government institutions in determining future work plans.
