The files of two suspects in the alleged bribery case for the construction and maintenance of railway lines within the Directorate General of Railways (DJKA) of the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) in 2018-2022 are complete.

Both of them Putu Sumarjaya are the Head of the Railway Engineering Center (BTP) for the Central Java Region (Central Java) and Bernard Hasibuan as the Commitment Making Officer (PPK) of the Central Java BTP will soon face the court.

"It has been delegated from the public prosecutor of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK)," said Semarang Corruption Court spokesman Aria Bawono Langgeng in Semarang, Monday, September 11.

After the files were submitted to the Semarang Corruption Court, Aria said the Semarang District Court (PN) would appoint a panel of judges and schedule a trial.

In this case as the giver of bribes, Director of PT Istana Putra Agung Dion Renato Sugiarto, has been sentenced to 3 years in prison.

Based on Antara's report, Dion is a contractor who worked on a number of projects at the Central Java Region Railway Engineering Center.

One of the projects that Dion worked on, namely the Solo Balapan-Kadipiro-Kalioso Railway Doubles Line Project.

Dion was proven to have given a sum of money to Putu Sumarjaya and Bernard Hasibuan regarding the projects he was working on.
