Zulhas Values Muhammadiyah Figures Suitable For The Chair Of The Next Cabinet Minister Of Education And Culture

JAKARTA - PAN Chairman Zulkifli Hasan alias Zulhas assessed that the seats of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Mendikbudristek) in the upcoming cabinet should be filled by Muhammadiyah figures.

This was conveyed by him when giving a speech at the National Working Meeting of the Muhammadiyah Central Executive MSME Development Institute which was held at the Faculty of Teachers and Education (FKIP) Muhammadiyah University, Prof. DR. HAMKA (Uhamka), Jakarta, Wednesday, August 30.

"That's why at least tomorrow, the next President is the minister of education must be from Muhammadiyah. Note that, Zulkifli Hasan will fight the next President, the minister of education must be from Muhammadiyah," Zulhas said in his statement, confiscated by Antara.

According to him, Muhammadiyah can be a driving force for progress in Indonesia because it is a pioneer in various fields, ranging from education, health, and others.

"Muhammadiyah is actually a pioneer, this country is progressing, so just follow Muhammadiyah," he said.

For this reason, the Minister of Trade (Mendag) invited Muhammadiyah to fight together in building a government.

"If we want the Mendikbudristek from us, we have to fight. How to do it, so I'll teach you how," said Zulhas jokingly.
