President Jokowi Continues State Visit To Mozambique

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo continued his visit to the Republic of Mozambique after holding a bilateral meeting with the President of the United Republic of Tanzania Samia Suluhu Hassan in Tanzania.

Reported by ANTARA from the Press Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat, President Joko Widodo took off to Maputo, Republic of Mozambique, via Julius Nyere International Airport, Dar Esmen, Republic of the United Tanzania, at around 15.00 local time (WS), Tuesday, August 22.

It appears that President Jokowi has released the Indonesian Ambassador to Tanzania Tri Yogo Jatmiko and the wife and Defense Attache of the Republic of Indonesia in Pretoria Kol. Mar. Burhanudin and his wife.

Tanzanian side also released Tanzanian Foreign Minister Sterogomena Tax, Tanzanian Ambassador to Indonesia Macochha Moshe Tembele, and Tanzanian State Protocol Chief Yusuf Mndolwa.

Previously, the President made state visits to the Republic of Kenya and Tanzania and produced a number of concrete cooperation in various fields including health.

During a visit in Africa since Sunday (20/8), Joko Widodo also called for strengthening the spirit of the 1955 Asian Africa Conference and the 1961 Non-Aligned Movement (GNB).

In Kenya and Tanzania President Widodo was welcomed by state.

In Tanzania, Jokowi was greeted with a large billboard with a picture of himself together with Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan.
