Head Of BNPT Emphasizes The Importance Of Implementing Pancasila Values In The Momentum Of The 78th Anniversary Of The Republic Of Indonesia

JAKARTA - Head of the National Counterterrorism Agency (BNPT) RI Komjen. Pol. Rycko Amelza Dahniel highlighted the importance of implementing Pancasila values in the momentum of the commemoration of the 78th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia. Ryan said the implementation of the Pancasila value was important in dealing with violent ideologies that could potentially threaten the peace and stability of the country.

"Hopefully the Indonesian nation will become a nation that is getting stronger in countering all forms of threat to the ideology of violence, by upholding the values of Pancasila and implementing it in everyday life," said Rycko, quoted from Antara, Thursday, August 17. According to him, Pancasila as the basis of the state must always be a guide to strengthening the national foundation, as well as guiding the direction of national development and realizing a just and civilized society. "So that (the implementation of the value of Pancasila) becomes the foundation in welcoming Indonesia Gold 2045," said the Head of BNPT. The winner of Adhi Makayasa Police Academy (Akpol) '88 also underlined the importance of society to maintain unity and respect differences. This, he said, was a form of building a peaceful, harmonious, and without violence.

"Hopefully the Indonesian nation as a pluralistic nation always upholds the values of tolerance, always takes care of diversity and respects differences," he added. He reminded Pancasila that it is not just a motto, but must be absorbed in every aspect of social life. Therefore, Rycko encourages the implementation of the Pancasila value to be carried out in a total and comprehensive manner. The message of the Head of BNPT is in line with the state speech of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo, Wednesday (16/8), that the spirit of democracy should not be used as an event to vent slander that is not in accordance with the values of Pancasila.

"Kebebasan dan demokrasi digunakan untuk melampiaskan kedengkian dan fitnah. Polusi di wilayah budaya ini sangat melukai keluhuran budi pekerti bangsa Indonesia," kata Jokowi dikutip dari keterangan tertulis yang sama.
