Kamaruddin Simanjuntak Becomes A Suspect Of Defamation Of The President Director Of Taspen ANS Kosasih

The famous lawyer Kamaruddin Simanjuntak is a suspect in the defamation case of the President Director of PT Taspen ANS Kosasih. The Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police has sent a summons for an examination to the lawyer for the family of Brigadier Yosua Hutabarat.

"Already a suspect," said Director of Cyber Crime (Dittipidsiber) Bareskrim Polri Brigadier General Adi Vivid Agustiadi Bachtiar, quoted by Kompas.com, Wednesday, August 9.

According to him, investigators have sent a summons for an examination of Kamaruddin Simanjuntak. However, the date for Kamaruddin's examination has not yet been mentioned.

Reporting from Kompas.com, this case began when Kamaruddin was reported to be the aftermath of a snippet of his video circulating on social media. In the video, Kamaruddin mentions the woman in custody and the Rp 300 trillion fund prepared by the President Director of Taspen for campaign capital for a presidential candidate in the 2024 presidential election.

The report against Kamaruddin is registered with the number LP/B/1966/IX/SPKT/Polres Metropolitan Jakarta/Polda Metro Jaya on September 5, 2022.
