Defense Minister Prabowo Appoints TNI Major General Jonni Mahroza As Chancellor Of The Indonesian Defense University

BOGOR Minister of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto leads the Ceremony of Lifting the Oath, Inauguration and Handover of Positions (Sertijab) of the Chancellor of the Indonesian Defense University at the Red and White Hall of the Indonesian Defense University, Sentul, Bogor, Friday, August 4.

From the information received by VOI, Saturday, August 5, Defense Minister Prabowo inaugurated a new Rector of the Indonesian Defense University, Maj. Gen. Jonni Mahroza, who previously served as Deputy Head of Academics and Planning for the Defense University. With this inauguration, Major General TNI Jonni Mahroza officially replaced the previous Rector of the Indonesian Defense University, Admiral TNI (Ret.) Amarulla Octavian.

"I hereby officially inaugurate Major General TNI Jonni Mahroza as Chancellor of the Defense University of the Republic of Indonesia. I believe you will carry out your duties as well as possible in accordance with the responsibilities given," said the Minister of Defense.

In addition to inaugurating, Defense Minister Prabowo also gave a briefing. In his briefing to the Academic Civity of the Indonesian Defense University, the Minister of Defense expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Chancellor of the Indonesian Defense University, Vice Admiral TNI (Ret.) Amarulla Octavian, who for approximately three years and three months has served.

On this occasion, the Minister of Defense also expressed his appreciation to all the staff and Lecturers of the Defense University who have worked hard so that the Defense University reached the current position.
