Stepfather Rapes Child While Sleeping, Victim Wants To Report To His Mother But Fears

TANGERANG A father with the initials SN(29) in Rajeg, Banten has the heart to rape his stepdaughter, N (17). According to police records, SN has been doing it from May 2021 to July 2023.

"The victim is the suspect's stepson and is still a student or minor. The harassment incident occurred from May-July 2023," said Rajeg Police Chief AKP Kasimun, Thursday, August 3.

Kasimun said that the incident of abuse against his stepdaughter began when the victim was sleeping in his room. Then the suspect entered the victim's room and immediately carried out his immoral act.

"At that time, the victim was sexually assaulted by the suspect. The victim, who was conscious, woke up because he felt pain in his vital part. The victim tried to fight back by kicking the suspect," he said.

After the incident, the victim told his stepfather's actions to his brother, not to his biological mother because he did not dare.

Based on information, the victim's brother reported it to the police. It didn't take long for the police to arrest the SN suspect on Friday, July 28.

"At that time, the suspect SN admitted to having committed sexual violence or rape of the victim," he said

For his actions, the suspect was charged with Article 81 and/or Article 82 of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 17 of 2016 concerning Child Protection with a minimum prison sentence of 5 years and a maximum of 15 years and a fine of 15 billion.
