UNJ Students Beaten By Trisakti Students To The Point Of Unconsciousness In Pasar Minggu Sports Center

JAKARTA - The beating took place during a futsal inter-campus tournament at the Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta, Wednesday, July 26. One student named Aditio Rizkiawan Ortega (22) from the Jakarta State University (UNJ) was reportedly unconscious due to being beaten by the perpetrators.

The victim's brother, Rangga, said the incident occurred during the match. He claimed that suddenly his younger brother was beaten even though at that time the opponent was superior.

Even though Trisakti is superior, I don't know why suddenly he ganged up like that," said Rangga, Thursday, July 27.

According to Rangga, his younger brother was beaten until he fell and then trampled on by the opponent. As a result, his younger brother was unconscious.

"My sister was beaten, fell, now when she fell, she was trampled on by Trisakti's player. I didn't realize that my sister was also unconscious. Suddenly, my sister was beaten and fell, she hit her lips with bleeding mouth. After falling, she was immediately trampled on," he said.

Luckily, his younger brother was still safe after being beaten. Rangga said that his party had not made a police report on the incident because he was still waiting for good faith. However, if there is no one, it will be brought under legal action.

"If there is none, we will continue the legal process," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of Pasar Minggu Police, Kompol Rusit Malaka, confirmed the incident. However, his party has not received a report from the victim.

He also said that both parties had completed it amicably. Because the match continued until the end of the tournament.
