Many Netizens Salah Kaprah, DKI Provincial Government Explains The Difference Between Jak Lingko And Microtrans

JAKARTA - Crowded on social media on statements of disappointment by netizens who consider the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono to change Jak Lingko's name.

This was triggered by the upload of a poster on PT Transjakarta's social media account which dropped the name "JakLingko" to "Mikrotrans".

Thus, they consider Heru to have removed the naming of Jak Lingko which was inherited by Anies Baswedan during his tenure as Governor of DKI in city transportation (angkot) which has been integrated with Transjakarta.

It turned out that netizens made a fuss over changing Jak Lingko's name to a Microtrans. Based on the explanation from the Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, Syafrin Mikrotrans was part of the JakLingko system since the launch of the transportation system.

"It is not true that Jak Lingko was replaced by a Microtrans," said Syafrin in his statement, Thursday, July 27.

Syafrin also explained the difference between Microtrans and JakLingko. Since 2018, Microtrans has become one of the Transjakarta fleets in the form of urban transportation cars (angkot) that are integrated into the JakLingko system.

"The Mikrotrans serves 83 routes and stretches along Jakarta. Microtrans is here so that it is easier for people to reach public transportation from home or office so that they can switch to using public transportation during activities," explained Syafrin.

Meanwhile, JakLingko is a system for the integration of payments for various modes of public transportation at once. Integration is carried out by realizing the connectivity of modes and infrastructure and transportation facilities in Jakarta, including the Microtrans in it.

This is stipulated in DKI Jakarta Governor Regulation Number 68 of 2021 concerning the Implementation of Integrated and Integrated Transportation Systems, when Anies was still the Governor of DKI.

"According to Governor Regulation No.68 of 2021, the implementation of transportation integration is carried out on MRT, LRT modes, Transjakarta transportation services, feeder or feeder transportation services, transportation services and/or other supporters as supporters of the JakLingko system," said Syafrin.

Syafrin explained, Jak Lingko realizes operational system integration which includes infrastructure, services/rute, data and information, as well as tariffs and payment systems.

"Microtrans as feeder or feeder transportation is integrated with other public transportation modes, such as MRT, LRT, Transjakarta buses, and KRL, so that people can continue their journey easily," concluded Syafrin.
