Budget Of IDR 27 Billion Not Absorbed, DPRD Highlights The Performance Of The Bogor City Government

BOGOR - DPRD Bogor City highlighted the capacity of the Bogor City Government's budget absorption sourced from the General Allocation Funds - Special Allocation Funds (DAK).

This is because, in the report on the use of the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget or the 2022 APBD, which was reported by the Mayor of Bogor, Bima Arya, some time ago, it was recorded that there was a budget sourced from DAU-DAK which was not absorbed amounting to Rp27 billion.

This was revealed in a follow-up working meeting of the Bogor City DPRD Budget Agency (Banggar) regarding the discussion of the accountability report for the Use of the 2022 Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget or PP-APBD Bogor City with the Bogor City Regional Government Budget Team (TAPD), last Thursday.

The chairman of the Bogor City DPRD, Atang Trisnanto, said that based on the results of the first and second meetings, there were more than 50 recommendation notes for the Bogor City Government regarding accountability for the implementation of the 2022 APBD.

"More than 50 points of DPRD recommendation notes for TAPD related to the implementation of the 2022 APBD are intended so that financial bookkeeping, development planning, and budget absorption can be perfected," said Atang Trisnanto.

Atang Trisnanto said there would be a follow-up meeting related to the discussion of PP-APBD 2022 in Bogor City.

At the meeting on Thursday, July 20, 2023, Atang Trisnanto said that there was an agreement between the Bogor City DPRD and the Bogor City TAPD regarding the six conclusions of today's meeting.

One of them is asking the Bogor City Government to work seriously and maximally in implementing programs and work sourced from DAU and DAK, so that absorption can optimally move the wheels of the development economy.

"Because if we look at the records earlier, those that were not absorbed reached Rp27 billion. It's a shame if it happens because of budget absorption problems," said Atang.

In addition, there is a difference in regional spending between what was conveyed by the Bogor City Government and the results of the BPK LHP.

Where the difference in regional spending reached Rp2.7 billion.

"From DPRD records, the total realization of regional expenditures after being adjusted to the BPK LHP is a difference of around Rp. 2.7 billion from the PP-APBD posture submitted by the Bogor City Government. The DPRD assumes that there is a state loss that needs to be paid back to the regional treasury," said Atang Trisnanto.
