Section 1 is currently being completed from Kartosuro to the Purwomartani Interchange (SS), Sleman Regency with a target completion in 2024.
PUPR Minister Basuki Hadimuljono said the Solo-Yogyakarta-NYIA Kulonprogo Toll Road is a National Strategic Project (PSN). This project was built to improve connectivity and unravel congestion in Central Java and DI Yogyakarta Provinces.
"For PSN Solo-Yogyakarta Toll Road, in 2024 hopefully the community can use it until Purwomartani, because this toll road has been eagerly awaited," he said in an official statement, written on Sunday, July 23.
Construction of the Solo-Yogyakarta-NYIA Kulonprogo Toll Road Section 1 along 42.38 km was carried out by contractor PT Jogjasolo Marga Makmur in 2 packages, namely Section 1 package 1.1 for Kartasura-Klaten along 22.30 km and Section 1 package 1.2 for Klaten-Purwomartani along 20.08 km.
