Stepfather Molested His Daughter At Sunday Market, Police Hold Visum Evidence

JAKARTA - The police have evidence of post-mortem abuse by a stepfather with the initials AS to a minor AMR (16) on Jalan Bacang, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta.

"We have asked for a post-mortem and have also asked for assistance and examination from the Integrated Service for the Empowerment of Women and Children (P2TP2A)," said Deputy Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit (Kasat Reskrim) of the South Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Henrikus Yossi, to reporters in Jakarta, Thursday, July 12.

Yossi said that his party confirmed that from the results of the post-mortem, it was true that there was an alleged molestation belonging to the victim's child.

The police are still in the investigation stage by asking witnesses, namely the victim's family, to strengthen the report.

In the future, his party will summon the reported party to investigate the alleged harassment case.

"We plan to make the first summons to be reported next week," he concluded.

Previously, the Police investigated the case of a stepfather with the initials AS who was suspected of molesting a minor with the initials AMR (16) on Jalan Bawang, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta.

"We received the report last Tuesday, June 20, 2023," said Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit (Kasat Reskrim) of the South Jakarta Metro Police AKBP Irwandhy Idrus when contacted in Jakarta, Wednesday.

Irwandhy said that his party would provide further information regarding the next handling.

Meanwhile, the biological father of victim AM said the incident took place in 2019. However, the victim only dared to admit that he reported this case on Tuesday, June 20, at 13.10 WIB to the South Jakarta Metro Police.

The report is registered with the number LP/B/1867/VI/2023/Polres Metro South Jakarta/Polda Metro Jaya.

AM when contacted by reporters stated that his son had only admitted two days ago through his mother so that AM, who is the biological father, did not immediately know about the incident.
