The Clarification Of The Head Of Education And Culture Regarding The News Of The Forcing Of Students Of SDN 4 Ploso Jati Kudus Was Transferred To SLB Because They Can't Read

KUDUS - The Youth and Sports Education Office of Kudus Regency, Central Java, denied the coercion of one of the State Elementary School students to move to the Purwosari Extraordinary School (SLB) because the person concerned had not been able to read and write.

"We will solve this problem soon, by bringing the school together with parents," said Head of the Kudus Regency Youth and Sports Education Office, Harjuna Widada, responding to information regarding one of the students of SD 4 Ploso, Jati Subdistrict, who was forced to move to SLB Negeri Purwosari, reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, July 11.

He emphasized that when the doctor's certificate states that the person concerned is normal, he can go to elementary school. But when it comes to the autistic category, of course you can go to an extraordinary school (SLB).

The most important thing, said Harjuna, is that parents must realize the real condition of their children, whether they are really able to take lessons at school or not.

"We hope that when it is decided to take part in learning at an ordinary elementary school, teachers can pay extra attention so that the children's ability to take lessons will increase. Do not let children drop out of school," said Harjuna Widada.

Meanwhile, the Principal of SD 4 Ploso Nur Khabib admitted that his party only suggested to parents of students to send their children to SLB, after a year of students named Mohammad Ajjib (9) taking part in learning in grade 1 were considered to be facing problems, especially non-current communication.

To ensure the child's ability, the child was then checked at the hospital and the results were declared that the child was normal.

"It's just that, because of the certificate from the doctor, it was stated that the student was normal, finally the Purwosari Kudus State SLB also refused to accept it because his son was considered normal," he said.

So that the student can take part in learning, he said, the school makes an agreement with the parents, later the child must undergo therapy at the hospital so that his communication runs smoothly.

Meanwhile, the school will educate him optimally so that his academic and communication skills can increase.
