DIY - The Gunungkidul Regency Government (Pemkab) conducted 10 percent formaldehyde disinfection in places where the carcasses of cows and goats were buried in the Padukuhan Jati area, Candirejo Village.

Head of the Gunungkidul Animal Husbandry and Health Service (DPKH), Wibawanti, revealed the effort to anticipate the spread of BETraks.

"This soil sample is for the Wates Veterinary Center (BBVet) laboratory test. We took samples in four places, and left on June 23, 2023, namely three positive anti-extraction locations," he said.

He said the Gunungkidul DPKH carried out KIE with the head of the hamlet to limit livestock traffic, especially in Padukuhan Jati.

He hoped that livestock from Padukuhan Jati would not come out first so that the anti-extraction would not spread anywhere.
