BALIKPAPAN - The body of the wife of the Governor of East Kalimantan Hj Norbaiti Isran Noor arrived at Sultan Aji Muhammad Sulaiman International Airport in Sepinggan Balikpapan.

The body was taken using a Garuda plane with flight number 505 from the Jakarta route to Balikpapan accompanied by the Governor of East Kalimantan Isran Noor with his three children and family.

The arrival of the bodies was welcomed by family, relatives and friends from Governor Isran Noor and the late Norbaiti. Also seen welcoming the ranks of the East Kalimantan Forkopimda and the Balikpapan City Forkopimda.

"Furthermore, the body of the deceased was immediately taken to Samarinda, and buried in a private residence in the Kunjang River, Samarinda, and will be buried in the side yard of the residence today, (Thursday, 25/5) after Zuhur," said Head of the East Kalimantan Provincial Secretariat Administration Bureau Hj Syarifah Alawiyah as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, May 25.

Based on official information from the East Kalimantan Provincial Government, Hj Norbaiti bint Amlan Tasin died on Wednesday (24/5) night at 20.23 WIB.

The former DPR member for two periods breathed his last while undergoing medical treatment at the Jakarta National Brain Center Hospital (PON).

The deceased was a figure who always faithfully accompanied Governor Isran Noor through the joys and sorrows of life since the beginning of their marriage until his death.

During his lifetime, Hj Norbaiti Isran Noor was known as an active person in the field of social and humanitarian activities.

The deceased also really cares about the development of children and education. In the last five years, it was recorded that the deceased was active as the Chair of the East Kalimantan PKK TP, Bunda PAUD, Bunda GenRe, Chairman of the East Kalimantan Dekranasda, Chairman of East Kalimantan Kwarda, Trustees of the Women's Darma Association of East Kalimantan and Chair of the Indonesian Tubercollosis Eradication Association (PPTI) East Kalimantan. In addition, Hj Norbaiti Isran Noor is also very active in various activities of the taklim assembly.

The motivation that is always given to cadres and administrators of various organizations that he leads is sincerity and intention because of Allah SWT in every activity.

Hj Norbaiti always reminded that social activities only require sincerity and not making it a job field.

Hj Norbaiti was born in Loa Janan, January 30, 1969. Completed his education at SDN 002 Loa Janan (1973-1979), SMPN 5 Samarinda (1979-1985), Mulawarman University FKIP (1991), University August 17, 1945 (2016).

Hj Norbaiti Isran Noor was also the representative of the people of East Kalimantan in the DPR RI for the 2009-2014 and 2014-2019 periods. Together with Governor Isran Noor, Hj Norbaiti Isran Noor was blessed with three children, namely Muhammad Rahman Isran, Siti Rahmawati Isran and Siti Annisa Isran.
