Charta Survey: 61 Percent Of Jokowi-Ma'ruf Voters Choose Ganjar, Answer The 'Close To The People' Requirements During Musra?

JAKARTA - The survey institute Charta Politica Indonesia has just released the results of the latest national survey. The survey results put Ganjar Pranowo at the top, leaving Prabowo Subianto and Anies Baswedan in second and third positions.

One of the highlights of this national survey is that 61 percent of Jokowi-Ma'ruf voters have made their choice to Ganjar Pranowo. This shows that Jokowi-Ma'ruf supporters or voters feel that Ganjar Pranowo is the right person to continue Jokowi's work and achievements during his 2 terms as President of the Republic of Indonesia.

Not only that, the similarity factor of Ganjar Pranowo's leadership style, who is currently still serving as Governor of Central Java, is considered to be a representation of Jokowi's leadership style. Jokowi has explicitly provided conditions to the public for what values must be contained in presidential candidates who should be elected in the upcoming 2024 presidential election.

It is not impossible if 61 percent of Jokowi-Ma'ruf voters then feel that Ganjar Pranowo is included in the conditions conveyed by Jokowi at the Musra event yesterday.

Still in the same speech, Jokowi also twisted the leadership model that "sit behind a table" when someone becomes president. For Jokowi, understanding this country is an important thing so that he can take advantage of existing opportunities.

In the release of the national survey which was held in the range of 2-7 May 2023, Charta Politica Indonesia placed Ganjar Pranowo 38.2 percent at a difference of more than 7 percent from Prabowo Subianto who only got 31.1 percent. Followed by Anies Baswedan who got 23.6 percent.

Ganjar Pranowo's electability has increased after previously experiencing a decline in the last April period. Meanwhile, Prabowo Subianto and Anies Baswedan have experienced a relative decline," explained Executive Director of Charta Politica Indonesia Yunarto Wijaya.

The Charta Politica survey was conducted using a face-to-face interview method using the multistage random sampling method. Survey respondents amounted to 1,220 with a margin of error of 2.82 percent.

Respondents involved in surveys are at least 17 years old or have met voter requirements. The survey was conducted in all provinces in Indonesia with a quality control of 20 percent of the total sample.
