Air Gun Mustopa 'The Shooter' Of The MUI Office

Polda Metro Jaya explained the flow of purchases of Air Gun by the suspect Mustopa. He got the weapons from three people who were also named as suspects.

The three had the initials D, N, and H. Two of them were referred to as intermediaries and the other was a water gun seller.

Starting from the suspect Mustopa who visited D's residence on February 1. He asked for help finding an Air Gun type weapon.

Suspect D agreed. The next day, he contacted suspect N and conveyed about looking for the air gun.

"Suspect N then contacted suspect H with the delivery of the price of Air Gun Clock 19 for Rp. 4 million," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko in his statement, Wednesday, May 10.

After receiving this information, suspect N immediately told D. He said there was an Air Gun weapon that was sold for Rp. 5 million. The information was forwarded by suspect D to Mustopa.

It didn't take long for the suspect Mustopa to come to suspect D's house to hand over the money on February 3. Payment in cash amounting to Rp. 2 million and the rest via transfer.

"On February 6, 2023, suspect D and N agreed to meet related to the weapon, and the next day underwent a transaction with an agreement at a price of Rp. 4,750,000," he said.

Furthermore, suspect N went to H's house to buy the weapon along with his membership card with an agreement for a price of Rp. 3.8 million, for a Clock 19 air gun equipped with gas and iron Gotri.

"After that, suspect H handed over the weapon to suspect N," he said.

After receiving the weapon, suspect N took the weapon to his house, while suspect H ordered KTA Air Gun to the shooting club, Garuda Sakti Shooting Club for Rp. 280 thousand with the destination address to suspect N's house.

Suspect D took the weapon to N's house on February 9. He demonstrated how to use it and tested a bulletless shot at suspect D. The weapon was then taken to D's house.

A day later, suspect N received a package containing KTA Air Gun and then the next day met with suspect D to deliver the KTA.

Suspect D, who was already holding a gun and his KTA, then contacted Mustopa to meet and hand over according to the agreement at suspect D's house while demonstrating how to use it.

"The suspect Mustopa then gave Rp. 500 thousand as a cost wage, thank you for helping. After that the suspect Mustopa died, suspect D's house brought Air Gun and KTA Air Gun," said Trunoyudo.

Mustopa carried out a shooting at the MUI office, Menteng, Central Jakarta on Tuesday, May 2 at around 10.30 WIB.

Referring to the letter found, the shooting was allegedly because Mustopa felt disappointed. Because, his wish for justice cannot be achieved.

However, Mustopa died after carrying out the shooting.
