The budget needs for repair and road improvement in the five regions are different, such as in Central Bengkulu Regency amounting to Rp9 billion, Lebong Regency Rp3.7 billion, Rejang Lebong Regency Rp3.7 billion, Seluma Regency Rp1.5 billion and Kepahiang Regency Rp1.3 billion.

With the repair budget, repairs will be made to road points that are badly damaged and good roads will still be maintained.

"This is periodic maintenance, especially spots. Because for one kilometer, the need for funds is around Rp. 3.5 billion. So, on average each district is one kilo, but because we see the condition of these spots, when there is something good, we leave it, especially we do what is damaged by the para," he said.

In 2023, road works that are under the authority of the Provincial PUPR will be carried out periodic maintenance, routine maintenance, and improvements.

Previously, the Bengkulu Provincial Government prepared funds from the 2023 Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD) of IDR 50 billion for provincial road repairs in 10 districts and cities in the region.
