JAKARTA - A total of 385 Indonesian citizens (WNI) were successfully evacuated from the Suadara war zone in Sudan. However, of the hundreds of people, 8 Indonesian citizens were sick.

"We also saw that when we got off the bus there were about 8 people who were sick with various motives who are still under the assessment of the health team," said Assistant Deputy for Emergency and Post-Disaster Management, Deputy for Coordination for Regional Development and Disaster Management, Nelwan Harahap at Hajj Dormitory, Pondok Gede, East Jakarta, Friday, April 28.

Nelwan said that the average sick person was tired on the way. Because they have to travel for a dozen hours.

"Because of the illness on the way, maybe, because we can imagine the journey from their location to Sudan, the Port of Sudan took 16 hours later from Port Sudan, and to Jeddah it took them more than 18 hours to travel," said Nelwan.

"And they must be immediately dispatched from Jeddah here, and all possibilities will exist," he added.

Therefore, his party has prepared a referral hospital if the eight Indonesian citizens need further treatment. In order to prevent unwanted things from happening.

"And God willing, later if for example it is needed for further treatment, we have prepared a Hajj Hospital, namely a referral so that we can access it as soon as possible after the data collection is complete," he concluded.

Hundreds of Indonesian citizens (WNI) who were successfully evacuated from the Sudanese war zone arrived at Pondok Gede Hajj Dormitory, East Jakarta, Friday, April 28, at 8.24 WIB.

According to VOI monitoring, the Indonesian citizens arrived at the Hajj Dormitory at 08.24 WIB. They came using a bus that had just been picked up from Soekarno Hatta Airport, Tangerang City. A total of 13 buses with approximately 385 Indonesian citizens arrived at the Hajj Dormitory, East Jakarta.

They took an orange transjakarta bus, then took it down in front of the Multipurpose-3 Building (SG3 Building).
