At The End Of April, The KPK Will Letter An Institution Whose Officials Have Not Yet Complied In Reporting Wealth

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) plans to write to agencies whose officials have not complied with reporting assets. They want all to be obliged to report submitting the State Administrators Wealth Report (LHKPN).

"At the end of April, the KPK leadership will write to all institutional leaders," said KPK Deputy for Prevention and Monitoring Pahala Nainggolan to reporters at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Friday, April 14.

This letter will be sent by the head of the anti-corruption commission so that the agency can name its officials who have not reported their wealth. Pahala also said they were asked to follow up.

The KPK previously revealed that LHKPN reporting compliance in the 2022 period had increased. From their data, 99 percent of its officials have reported their wealth.

However, there are still 7 reporting ministries that have not reached 100 percent. The details are the Ministry of Foreign Affairs 80.85 percent; Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs 89.13 percent; Ministry of Defense 91.94 percent; Ministry of Youth and Sports 96.08 percent; Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology 96.48 percent; Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs 96.59 percent; Ministry of Investment 97.18 percent.

Meanwhile, for non-ministerial institutions, the percentage of compliance reached 98.6 percent. However, there are 10 non-ministerial institutions whose officials do not comply with reporting wealth.

Institutions with the lowest reporting rate are Kompolnas with a total of 44.44 percent; TVRI LPP 48.08; and the Business Competition Supervisory Commission 51.52 percent.

Next, Cabinet Secretariat 65.81 percent; National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) 67.17 percent; Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) 73.11 percent; Indonesian Ombudsman 78.57 percent; State Intelligence Agency (BIN) 79.43 percent; Commission of the Indonesian Prosecutor's Office 80 percent; and Presidential Staff Office 80 percent.
