6 Months Closed Due To Revitalization, Bridge Transjakarta Bus Stop Operates Again

PT Transport Jakarta has again operated a Transjakarta Bus Stop in Kedaung Village, Kali Angke, Cengkareng District, West Jakarta, as of today. The suspension bridge stop, which serves the Kalideres-Pasar Baru route, has been reopened after being closed due to revitalization since 6 months ago, namely in September 2022. "To improve services for customers, the Suspension Bridge Bus Stop comes with more complete public facilities," Head of the Transjakarta Corporate Secretary Division, Apriastini Bakti Bugiansri in a statement, Thursday, April 6. Apri explained that the post-revitalization suspension bridge is equipped with a prayer room, toilet, gate door, vortex machine for electronic money cards (KUE), a passanger information system (PIS), CCTV, and Wi-Fi that passengers can use. "Hopefully Transjakarta will always innovate in providing services and comfort when doing activities with Transjakarta. We urge to always maintain public facilities and make the best use of them," said Apri. Previously this year, Transjakarta also reopened a number of bus stops that had been revitalized, namely the Olimo Bus Stop, Juanda Bus Stop, MH Thamrin bus stop, Dukuh Atas 1 stop, and Jatipadang stop. The bus stop is part of the 46 revitalization stops that are completed in stages and can be used to serve customers.

The opening time of these four stops is delayed from the previous target. Transjakarta previously targeted the revitalization of 46 Transjakarta stops to be completed by the end of 2022. Then, until the end of 2023, Transjakarta targets the revitalization of the bus stop to be carried out with a total of 72 stops.
