Bunga Citra Lestari Celebrates Anniversary Of Marriage Through A New Single Titled Restarting

JAKARTA - Bunga Citra Lestari (BCL) launched a new single entitled 'Restarting'. This song is an offering for the anniversary of her wedding with Tiko Aryawardhana.

BCL calls this new song an expression of love and gratitude for the resumption of the journey of love in building a household with Tiko, after the departure of the late Ashraf Sinclair.

This song is really special for me. This song is not about dreams, this song is about an adult love, about loving imperfections, about the courage to open up and an awareness no matter how many storms might come, we can always start again," said BCL in his statement, Tuesday, December 17.

As for the process of producing songs, Bunga was assisted by Ifa Fachir and Dimas Wibisana as producers. Ink's cooperation has been established for a long time, so the development of chemistry is not at all a problem.

Meanwhile, in writing the lyrics, apart from Ifa, Bunga was also assisted by songwriters from Bandung, Rahmania Astrini.

This song is Bunga's first opportunity in collaboration with Rahmania, which is recognized as successfully giving a different color in writing lyrics and song arrangements.

"For the initial process, this song can be said to have actually been around for a long time, even for the take-up demonstration it has been done from before getting married. However, we decided that the production, arrangement, and recording process was carried out on the way to anniversary by more exploiting the new sound, namely pop-ballad music packaging and 90's R&B vibes," said the woman who is familiarly called Unge.

"Because in my previous song there was no musical color like this, so we wanted to bring out something new in the musical works in the song 'Restarting'," he added.

With the release of Restarting', Bunga has high hopes if his work can provide a new meaning that is good, positive, and full of love for anyone who listens.

According to him, this song can be interpreted as the state of each individual that is different after going through a love journey with various stories in it.

"Although this song is indeed an expression of the feelings I feel for my husband, I hope this song can be accepted by Indonesian music lovers and can be meaningful for many people who want to restart their lives with their journeys of their stories until finally rediscovering the meaning of love in the new life story," said Unge.

"Fast, it feels right that this song will be released during the anniversary atmosphere, as a celebration of my new journey," he concluded.
