Fleet Must Face Difficulties Due To Contract Issues With Label

JAKARTA - The Fleet band is facing legal problems with the label. Currently, they are undergoing trial after filing a lawsuit over the termination of the agreement regarding the contract with the current label.

Ari Juliano Gema as Armada's attorney said Rizal cs had difficulty in establishing a contract with other parties because of the problem.

"Because it is still considered a contract (contract), it is difficult for the Fleet to cooperate with others," said Ari Juliano Gema when met in Kemang, South Jakarta on Thursday, October 12.

According to Ari, his client believes that the contract with the label has ended. That way, Fleet wants to collaborate with other labels.

The lawsuit is the termination of the agreement. Because for the Fleet, this (contract) has ended. So that the Fleet can cooperate with other parties," he said.

Meanwhile, there is one point in the contract with the label which is considered by the Fleet to indicate that the cooperation relationship has ended.

"From the agreement, he said that there was a certain time when the agreement ended or the Fleet's obligation to make four albums plus one other album had been fulfilled," said Ari Juliano Gema.

According to Ari, Armada believes the agreement has ended according to the date stated in the contract. However, the label still asks for another album.

"This is the meaning or, which happened first," said Ari.

"Armada considers that because four albums have been completed and there is no request to make a special album, then (the contract) has ended based on the date," he concluded.
