Bruno Mars Cancels Tel Aviv Concert Amid Israeli-Palestinian Conflict

JAKARTA - Bruno Mars was forced to cancel his concert at Tell Aviv on October 7 following an attack on Palestinian militants on South Israel in the morning.

A few days earlier, October 4, Mars held its first concert at Park HaYarkon Tel Aviv, and was rescheduled Saturday for a second concert.

Bruno Mars' concert, which is scheduled to take place tonight, was canceled, Israel's Live Nation wrote on Saturday on Instagram.

Meanwhile, dozens of visitors to Israeli music festivals were reportedly killed in yesterday's attack.

According to CNN, music enthusiasts attending the festival reported that rockets began hitting the site at around 06.30 before direct fire hit those present shortly after.

At the time of writing, media reports said more than 400 Israelis were killed in a wider conflict, with more than 2,000 injured and more than 100 kidnapped.

According to The Guardian, about 350 Palestinians have also died since the fighting began. Separate reports from the media in the region said as many as 250 people were reported killed at the music festival, although there has been no official confirmation of the figure.

Witnesses at the festival said gunmen killed many visitors to the festival while dozens of people were being held hostage. Videos circulating on social media showed a number of spectators being held hostage.

An eyewitness told CNN that they began hearing sirens and rockets while attending the night-long event at the festival, a wave party bordering the desert near Kibbutz Re'im.

We don't even have a place to hide because we are in an open space. Everyone got panicked and started taking their things," they explained.

Witnesses also reported seeing many fatalities at the scene.
