Bagas Ran Wants To Connect With Many People Through Song With You

Bagas Rahman Dwi Saputra alias Bagas Ran comes with a new single titled With You as the second song he released this year. After participating in the fourth season of Little Idol event in 2012, the song With You became a hope for Bagas Ran to be increasingly recognized by Indonesian music listeners, after previously being successful through the song Cinta Terakhirku (2021) which was played 12.7 million times by Spotify listeners.

"My hope for the song With You can be liked by many people and also successful," said Bagas Ran in his statement, Sunday, October 1.

Bagas Ran and his label have their own reasons when choosing to release the song created by Sapta Rendra. They want to come up with songs that are connected to many people.

"In my opinion, there must be a lot of relationships out there with the story of this song," said Bagas.

Meanwhile, With You tells the story of a man who falls in love with a woman, where the man feels comfortable when talking together or while walking together.

Everything the woman did made the man even more love-burned. Starting from how to speak, even his attitude made the man fall in love even more.

However, curiosity arose. The man wanted to know what the woman really felt.

"So, the story in this song is that the man somehow feels the feeling he has never felt for a long time. He feels comfortable with one woman, even though he has many women. But this time it's different, whatever the woman does makes the man fall in love even more," said Bagas Ran.

Bagas himself admitted that he had a similar experience from what was told through the song With You. Therefore, he did not hesitate when he received an offer to release it.

"I chose this song because I actually experienced it myself, related it to my story in the past. So, the label and I decided to release a song called With You," he said.
