Released Homecoming Single, Gia Sahbila Comes With Nuansa Folk Pop

JAKARTA - Young singer Gia Sahbila released her second single titled Temu Bertamu on Friday, September 8 last week.

Similar to Halu Merindu, who became her debut single in 2022, Temu Bertumu still has a love story in her pure teenage years.

If Halu Merindu talks about longing and the desire to have a idol, then Temu Bertumu talks about the search for love.

The two songs were composed by Gusti Irwan Wibowo and Alyssia Eunike Soetedjo, A&R Trinity Optima Production.

The two songwriters worked well on a light and precise love story for teenagers and young people. Moreover, the song is based on Gia Sahabila's personal experience of what is happening in her environment.

"Many of my friends have experienced stories in the song Temu Bertamu. I myself have, but not exactly the same," said Gia Sabila in an official statement received by VOI on Tuesday, September 12.

Meanwhile, the nuances of pop folk from the arrangement of this song are adjusted to Gia's taste.

The singer who graduated from Trinity Incubation also increasingly found his vocal character through the song Temu Bertuma.

For video clips, Gia for the first time competed acting with the opposite sex in her own music video.

In my previous single video clip, I performed alone. In the music video this time, I competed acting with two actors, Ray Shidiq and Riskur," said Gia.

"This is a new thing for me, because the reading process with them is only one day. The challenge is how we can build chemistry well," he concluded.
