JAKARTA - Ozzy Osbourne canceled his appearance as one of the Goldenvoice POWER Trip Festival headliners.

Originally, The Prince of Darkness would appear at the festival which will take place on October 6-8 at the Empire Polo Club Indio, California.

Earlier yesterday, legendary vocalist Black Sabbath released the following statement: "Even though it hurts, I have to make a decision to step down from the Power Trip show in October."

"My original plan was to return to the stage in the summer of 2024, and when the offer to make this show came, I was optimisticly moving forward."

"Unfortunately, my body says I'm not ready yet and I'm too proud to have my first show in nearly five years to be half-hearted."

"Band who will replace me in Power Trip will soon be announced. They are my personal friends and I promise that you will not be disappointed."

"Above all, I want to thank my fans, my band, and my crew for their unconditional loyalty and continuous support. I love you all and see you again."

"God bless, Ozzy".

The Power Trip Festival will feature Guns N 'Roses, AC/DC, Metallica, Iron Maiden, and TOOL.

Ozzy's health problems, including contracting COVID-19 more than a year ago, forced her to cancel some of the previously announced tours.

Although health problems forced him to cancel most of his live performances, Ozzy said he would return if his condition improved.
