JAKARTA - The peak night of the Billboard Music Awards 2023 will be held on Sunday, November 19 and will be held streaming. This year, the music event added four categories to the K-pop genre which proves that this genre is increasingly global.
The four categories are Top Global K-pop Artist, Top K-pop Album, Top Global K-pop Song, and Top K-pop Touring Artist. The winning results are determined from the metric during the Billboard music charts from November 2022 to October 2023.
NewJeans won the Top Global K-pop Artist who also received the award in person. They are grateful for the opportunity to appear at the biggest music award event.

Stray Kids who won the Top K-pop Album category was also present and expressed his gratitude to fans.
"Without the love and support of everyone, we're not going to make this," said Bang Chan as leader of Stray Kids.
Changbin also added, "We received a very valuable award. This is all for the love STAY shows so we can come back with better music."
