Always Harmonious, It Turns Out That Jada Pinkett Smith Has Separated From Will Smith Since 2016

JAKARTA - The couple Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith seem to always be harmonious in front of the camera. However, a new fact has been revealed that the two have been separated since 2016.

Jada Pinkett Smith revealed this fact through the Today show ahead of the release of his memoir, Worthy. He said the two had been separated for seven years but never officially divorced.

"I think we're both still stuck in our fantasy about what someone else should be," said Jada Pinkett Smith.

When asked why they never revealed this, Jada admitted that he was not ready to explain it to the public.

"How do we tell people? We haven't found a solution yet. We'll try... anything," said Jada again.

Through his memoir, Jada also discussed his separation from Will Smith for the first time. He often forgets that he is still declared Will Smith's wife.

"We live separately and we exist as a family, not husband and wife. But when I heard Will screaming 'wife' in the midst of a difficult situation, ah I immediately thought I was his wife!" said Jada Pinkett Smith.

We are still looking for a way out. We did a tough job together, we have love for each other and we will find the right way for us," he said again.

In 2020, Jada admitted that he had a relationship with August Alsina when he was still Will Smith's wife. However, in a separate interview, Will revealed that he and Jada had an open relationship.

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith have two children, namely Jaden Smith and cap Smith. These two children follow in the footsteps of their parents for a career in the entertainment industry.
