The Role Of Miss Sweet Sayange, Prince Of Lantang And Luz Victoria Challenged To Win Labuan Bajo

JAKARTA - Prince Lantang and Luz Victoria are two of the actors who played a role in the film Miss Sweet Sayange. The film, directed by Hestu Saputra, combines romance stories with cultural elements in Labuan Bajo.

In this film, Prince Lantang plays Akram, a man from Bajo who meets his best friend again. Meanwhile, Luz Victoria became Dina, an influencer from Jakarta who went to Labuan Bajo for a vacation.

Akram is a innocent person but leads to a dongo too. He's a bad person for other people," said Prince Lantang at the VOI office today, Wednesday, October 11.

"Dina is a person who likes to be alone and he is really annoying," added Luz Victoria.

Both explained their challenges during filming in Labuan Bajo. They admit the challenge of speaking in Bajo which is a new thing found in this film.

"I've never learned Bajo language. I also learned it when I was there. Honestly, it's really difficult because there are differences in vocabulary," said Pangeran.

"I was given one to two days to study. There I finally went to one market and I tried to interact with local residents," he said.

"So I realized that I haven't had the maximum dialogue yet, but the production team and I have tried to give our best in this film," said Prince Lantang.

On the other hand, Luz felt that he had no trouble because he played an influencer. Instead, he expressed his admiration for Labuan Bajo.

"It's really beautiful there, the view and through this film you can see the view. I'm also learning a new culture because of filming this film," said Luz Victoria.

The film Miss Sweet Sayange will be released in Indonesian cinemas starting November 2, 2023.
