5 Years Delayed, Chinese Drama Against The Light Airing Today

JAKARTA - The Chinese Drama Against The Light will air starting today, Wednesday, September 20. This drama finally aired after five years of delay.

Production of this film began in 2018 where the production company announced a number of actors who will act through this drama. However, after the production was completed, there was no news about the continuation of this drama.

This year, JSTV shared the news that Against The Light will air in the fourth half of 2023.

The drama Against The Light tells the story of life in the middle of the jewelry industry. A woman wants to hide her identity but wants to show her skills as a professional celebrity.

Bai Xi Ning (played by Lan Ying Ying) is 10 years old and his life has changed. Born to a neighboring or professional far away family, Bai Xi Ning, who was originally declared heir to a drastic decline in financial condition.

Later, Bai Xi Ning was adopted by a couple from China and flown to Australia. As he grew up, he began to know the things behind the tragic events experienced by the family.

One of them was when he found out that his mother was imprisoned, not because of her mistake, but because she was framed by a party. 15 years passed, Bai Xi Ning, who grew up to be a smart woman, joined the company she once owned.

Moving from below, Bai Xi Ning began to find out about the incident as well as the power conflict between Li Zhuo Ran (Waise Lee) and Lin Yi (Zhang Han Yu).

Against The Light has been one of the Chinese dramas that the audience has been waiting for since it was announced in 2018. Apart from starring Lan Ying Ying, this drama also stars Xu Xiao Sa, Ray Zhao, Heidi Wang, Lin Jing, Lauren Tong, Qiu Xiao Chan, and others.

The drama with a total of 45 episodes will air from today, Wednesday, September 20 to October.
