Kim Se Jeong Reveals Reasons For Refuse To Participate In Produce 101

JAKARTA - Kim Se Jeong became known when she became one of the contestants for the Produce 101 program. She came out to become second place and debuted in the project group, IOI.

Behind his success, Kim Se Jeong revealed a new fact. He admitted that he was initially not interested in joining Produce 101.

He explained that at that time he was preparing to debut as a member of the Gugudan under the Jellyfish Entertainment agency.

"So I thought, 'Indeed participating in the show is very important?' said Kim Se Jeong at the Cultwo Show.

Kim Se Jeong shows her talent and gets the runner up position. She even gets more than 500 thousand support from the public regardless of not coming from big agencies. On the other hand, she recalls that the program made her train when it was highlighted by the camera a lot.

"I can't practice even though I want to, because I'm afraid people will judge me through those lenses," said Kim Sejeong.

"I thought they would say 'Oh, he's training hard because he realized he was being recorded", he said again.

Kim Se Jeong's determination made her increasingly known as a popular K-pop idol. In fact, he developed his career as a musical star and actor.

On the other hand, Kim Se Jeong will hold a concert tour entitled The Door. Jakarta is one of the purposes of the concert this time.

The tour will begin in Seoul on September 23 and 24, 2023. Then Sejeong will continue his journey to Hong Kong, Manila, Jakarta, Taipei, Tokyo, and Singapore.

In addition, he is also scheduled to hold concerts in Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Melbourne, and Sydney. The solo concert in Jakarta will be held on October 7, 2023.

This is Kim Sejeong's second visit to Jakarta after holding a fan meeting in Jakarta in November 2022.
