JAKARTA - Under The Hawthorn Tree will be adapted in Chinese drama format. Young actors Zhang Jiashou and Xu Xiaoshu are confirmed to star in their adaptation versions.

Given the same title, Under The Hawthorn Tree tells of China during a revolution that occurred in a village in Yichang, Hubei.

A woman named Jin Qiu and Lao San met there. Jin Qiu experienced bullying because his father was labeled "right wing" and sent to Yichang at the age of 16.
