Kidney Infection, Liam Payne Delays South American Tour

JAKARTA - Unpleasant news came from Liam Payne. The One Direction personnel announced that he had a kidney infection that resulted in the cancellation of the South American tour.

He's health condition is announced in his latest post on Instagram. He felt heavy heart had to postpone the tour without any other choice.

"With a heavy heart, I have to tell you that we have no choice but to postpone my upcoming tour of South America," Liam Payne said on Saturday, August 26, 2023.

"For a week, I was in hospital with serious kidney infections. This is something I didn't expect, and the doctor asked me now to need rest and recovery," he continued.

Liam Payne admits that he can't wait to come back to the fans. He also thanked fans who bought tickets for his concert.

"For those of you who bought tickets, I'm sorry. We are rescheduled for the tour as soon as we can, but for now we will return the ticket money - please look forward to our latest news," he said.

"Thank you for always loving and supporting, and looking forward to meeting you," Liam Payne concluded.

Liam Payne toured South America after undergoing three months of rehabilitation due to alcohol dependence. When greeting fans, he toured to fulfill his longing to sing and meet fans.

The concert tour will start on September 1, 2023 in Lima, Peru. Later, he is scheduled to visit several cities to Mexico City on September 12.

Liam Payne last released a single Sunshine which was asked to be the soundtrack for the film Ron's Gone Wrong while the single release was Naughty List with Dixie DAmelio.
